The numbers are clear. Nearly 50% of Millennials are independent with all American voters moving away from the two-party system by about 42%, but you can't put the cart before the horse. Here’s how you can help by organizing independent, non-aligned voters and by building the League of Independent Voters. When that happens, all kinds of things can change.

Linda Curtis (Independent Texans PAC) and Barry Klein (Houston Property Rights Association) on municipal petitions for a public vote

Learning Session on Eminent Domain

Share on Google+Share on LinkedInTweet about this on TwitterShare on Facebook

You will need to contact us to get a free seat at this event. Call us at 512-213-4511 or 512-657-2089 or email us at info@independentleaguetx.org.

We are holding a briefing session THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, AT 10 AM IN LOCKHART (details below) on eminent domain for landowners facing pipeline easement demands by Central Texas Regional Water Supply Corporation (or Abengoa Vista Ridge LLC) for San Antonio's Vista Ridge project.

Others of you are also welcome to join us. Because seating is limited, we ask you to reserve a seat by replying to this message with a request for number of seats.

This session will be led by Luke Ellis, a partner in the Austin law firm Johns, Mars, Ellis and Hodge LLP. His firm has a statewide reputation for representing landowners in eminent domain proceedings -- not the companies and governmental bodies that condemn the property of landowners.

NOTE:  Any persons affiliated with proponents of water supply permits are not welcome at this meeting.
