Stop Vista Ridge, End Op and Forestar Water Grabs – Cedar Creek
October 12, 2015 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm CDT
FreeEvent Navigation
Please join us for one of many meetings and events along the 142-mile Vista Ridge Water Pipeline from Burleson to Bexar counties.
This meeting is in Cedar Creek (Bastrop County) on Monday, October 12 at the Bluebonnet Fire Station 5554 FM 535. A 20-minute video about the Vista Ridge water project will be shown at the beginning of this event, followed by discussion that will include other "mega-water-contracts" in play in the Lost Pines Groundwater Conservation District (Bastrop and Lee counties).
This is both an educational and organizing event. There will be plenty of time to discuss strategy on what we, as a community, can do to protect our land and water for future generations.
This meeting will have three segments:
1. What is Vista Ridge (explained through a short video.)
2. What is happening with water in our area -- Vista Ridge, End Op and Forestar?
3. To take specific actions.
We will have plenty of these yard signs for you.
This is a free event! (Though we will be asking for donations for materials.)
If you want a large sign (4' x 4' or 4' x 8') visit our sign order page here.
